2. Robin Hood

Cortez and Crystal recite their record of violence before starting a fight on the school bus.

3. Scared Speechless

Young student Montreal Spanky Almond endures bullying torment for his speech impediment, but things look up when he finds a mentor. Crystal leaves home, and everyone fears for her life.

4. Dad's Locked Up

The staff can barely contain Iriel, who loves Minnie Mouse and dodgeball, as she throws a temper tantrum. Meanwhile, Reverend Hood agrees to go to prison with Cortez so he can see his father.

5. Last Chance

The fate of Montefiore grows uncertain as CPS threatens to close the school. Coach Williams and Reverend Hood spread the holiday cheer while students prepare for a special assembly.

6. No Way Out

Amidst the most violent year in Chicago for 20 years, Keontay adopts a new life on the streets. As he flirts with death, old mentors attempt to persuade him to take another path.

7. Lost and Found

Former staff members reconnect with old Montefiore students who lack the support the school once provided. Cortez tests his luck with the law, while Montreal makes strides.

8. Escape Chicago

Cortez's mounting feud with a rival gang forces his family to flee Chicago. Keontay gets an unwelcome visit by DHS. Montreal sees a glimmer of hope.
