2. Kitchen Upgrade

Marc and Kim decide to remodel their kitchen and need a reliable return on the investment. Adam Berlin helps the couple install the best materials they can afford as they add new cabinets, countertops, floor and backsplash.

3. Backyard Deck

Adam Berlin helps a couple stretch their budget with an outdoor renovation project. They build a deck in the middle of the yard and surround it with xeriscaped landscaping, rock paths and low-voltage lighting.

4. Master Bathroom Upgrade

A couple teams up with Adam Berlin to bring their 80's-era master bathroom into the 21st century. Smart planning gets the couple the granite countertops they want to go with their new cabinets, faucets and shower stall.

5. Basement Finish

A family of four decides to increase their living space with a basement remodel. They turn their horror of a basement into an open multipurpose room complete with an office area, a Murphy bed and new laminate flooring.

6. Stepping Up the Basement

A couple's 1970s basement is holding their house back, so with the help of Amy Matthews, they roll up their sleeves to bring the basement back to the future and double their livable space.

7. Kitchen Catch-up

Most of Matt and Anita's house is updated and attractive, but their outdated kitchen is dragging down their home's value. With the help of Amy Matthews, they install a tile floor, hang new cabinets and replace their countertops.

8. Home Theater

Ron and Dawn are armed with $15,000 and awesome DIY skills. With the help of Amy Matthews, and they get to work building an outrageous home theater room for him and a home office for her.

9. Redoing the Den

With their kids off to college, Dave and Melanie decide to spend $5,000 to renovate either their kitchen or their family room. They have to choose the project that will give them the best return on their investment.

10. Room to Grow

Kim and her three kids are in need of some extra space -- especially an extra bathroom. Kim's plan is to demolish her Brady Bunch basement in order to add two bedrooms, a family room and a bathroom.

11. Curb Upheaval

Doug and Jeanette and their three kids are in love with their old house, but its old yard is a problem. With a little help from Amy Matthews, they enhance their home's curb appeal and transform its tired exterior.

12. Modernized Kitchen

A couple with a baby on the way is ready for a remodeling project. With a $20,000 budget, they hope their DIY skills are enough to update their kitchen in time for the due date and make some dough in the process.

13. Build a Better Backyard

Kim is a commercial landscape architect, but her backyard could use a little of her expertise. With some help from Amy Matthews, a landscaper boyfriend and a $10,000 budget, Kim sets out to add a patio, pergola and water feature.
