After being kicked out of his band, rapper Drake struggled to make it in the music industry. Meanwhile, Queen Latifah spent her high school days performing at the Apollo Theater and making her rise to the throne.

Olympic medalist Evan Lysacek got a big rig rescue while following his dreams. 'American Idol' contestant Kimberly Caldwell landed in juvenile hall after going AWOL.

When he wasn't perfecting his stand-up comedy routine, Nick Cannon was learning to love the older ladies. Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day was already causing controversy at her high school and steering clear of boys. Mogul Donald Trump put aside his dreams of becoming a professional baseball player to get his start in the real estate business.

Television host, model and actress Vanessa Minnillo spent her high school days competing in pageants and stalking boy bands. Basketball star Chris Paul ruled the school and dominated on the courts. In Miami, rapper Pitbull battled it out and scored his first record deal.

Music superstar Pharrell spent his high school days drinking Big Gulps and stealing chicken nuggets from McDonald's.

On this episode of 'When I Was 17,' we take a look back on the teenage years of Ciara, CC Sabathia and Debi Nova. Recording artist Ciara spent her younger days singing, dancing and recording her first single. New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia spent his time in high school being the class clown -- until he was drafted to the Cleveland Indians. Singer Debi Nova left Costa Rica to follow her dreams in America.

On this episode of 'When I Was 17,' we take a look back on the teenage years of 'Jersey Shore' stars JWOWW, Pauly D and Mike 'The Situation.' JWOWW was perfecting her soup-making skills when she wasn't busy bowling strikes. Pauly D was breaking his mom's rules and making a name for himself as a DJ. Mike 'The Situation' was already partying and causing trouble.

On this episode of 'When I Was 17,' we take a look back on the teenage years of Dwyane Wade, Holly Madison and Joel and Benji Madden. At 17, basketball star Dwyane Wade was owning both the courts and the classroom, thanks to a crush on his math teacher. Holly Madison was busy rebelling and dreaming of becoming a Playboy bunny. Good Charlotte members Joel and Benji Madden were having a tough time with the ladies and breaking into the business.

On this episode of 'When I Was 17,' we take a look back on the teenage years of Adam Levine, Kathy Griffin and Swizz Beatz. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was getting signed to a record label and breaking hearts. Actress and comedienne Kathy Griffin was wrecking cars and getting spat on. Bronx-born beatmaster Swizz Beatz was cruising in the hottest ride and starting his career in music.

On this episode of 'When I Was 17,' we take a look back on the teenage years of Enrique Iglesias, Kelly Rowland and Stephanie Pratt. Pop sensation Enrique Iglesias was attending prom solo and writing songs in secret. Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland was wrecking cars and gaining fame. Reality TV star Stephanie Pratt was getting A's and partying hard.
