Also, the first report from the Springwatch Squad, who've been travelling up the UK in search of some special springtime events: starting with the courtship dance of the great crested grebe.

The marathon live wildlife event comes to the end of its first week. Simon King finds out if our sea eagle chicks have left their nest. How are Bill Oddie's favourite bird families doing? And Kate Humble looks at how climate change might affect some of our best known wild creatures.

Week two of the UK's biggest ever wildlife event begins, with the latest updates on the fortunes of our wild characters. Bill Oddie and Kate Humble find out if our baby birds have made it through the weekend; while Simon King reports live from the heart of London, where a pair of peregrine falcons has chosen to nest.

6. Episode 6

Bill Oddie and Kate Humble with the latest live reports from down on the farm in Devon, while Kate also shows us how to create a Breathing Space for wildlife in our own garden or backyard. Meanwhile Simon King continues his reports from the London Wetland Centre, where a family of fox cubs promises to delight us with their antics.

7. Episode 7

Halfway house in the UKs biggest ever live wildlife event, with the fortunes of our animal characters still poised on a knife-edge. Bill Oddie and Kate Humble look at how bad weather can mean disaster for breeding birds, while Simon King gets a unique view inside a sand martin colony.

8. Episode 8

The marathon live wildlife event comes to the end of its second week. In this programme, we see a bird's eye view of London with our peregrine falcons; while we catch up with the antics of Bill Oddie's favourite badger cubs. And Kate Humble travels to Shetland to find out how climate change may spell disaster for Britain's seabirds.

9. Episode 9

The UK's biggest ever wildlife event enters its final week. Down in Devon, Bill Oddie and Kate Humble check out the fortunes of our favourite bird and animal characters, while Simon King broadcasts live from the Farne Islands - one of Britain's most spectacular seabird colonies. And we show you how to make the most of your garden wildlife in Breathing Space.

10. Episode 10

Bill Oddie checks out the badger sett on the farm in Devon, while Kate Humble gets to grips with ways of making your garden more wildlife-friendly in Breathing Space. Meanwhile, on the Farne Islands off Northumberland, Simon King meets an Arctic tern chick about to undertake one of the world's longest migratory journeys.

11. Episode 11

Bill Oddie and Kate Humble anxiously await the fate of our baby birds as they prepare to leave the safety of their nestboxes and enter the big wide world. And at the end of their epic journey through Britain, the Springwatch Squad report from the snow-covered mountains of the Cairngorms, whose creatures may go extinct as a result of climate change.

In the final broadcast of the UK's biggest ever live wildlife event, Bill Oddie, Kate Humble and Simon King reflect on the highlights of the past three weeks: the triumphs and disasters, unexpected surprises and magic moments from the varied cast of wildlife characters.
