After many years the brothers are spread across the world. Frans tends to the farm, Ronnie struggles in Cape Town and Andries wanders the East.

Andries wakes up in a foreign country, Ronnie tries to be a better father, and Frans has a date at the Blue Diamond.

Frans ponders the past. Ronnie goes for a job interview and Lourens gets into trouble at school.

Frans struggles with his dreams and seeks answers in a strange place. Lourens makes a terrible mistake at school, and Ronnie doesn't know how to handle it.

Lourens is broken and Ronnie and Suzette don't know how to help him. Frans and Maggie go to church, and Andries tells Fleur about his mother.

It's Christmas on Nêrens, but Pa Lourens excludes himself from the celebrations.

Andries makes a huge decision and Lourens arrives on Nêrens for the first time in years. In the past, Pa Lourens tries to help his sons navigate grief.

Ronnie prepares for a big day at work, but his past comes back to haunt him. Lourens adjusts to farm life. Frans prepares for his father's party as Andries encounters trouble on his journey.

On the anniversary of Katja's death the family circles the truth, reveal their secrets and try to form new bonds.

Everyone is preparing for the big party, and Frans struggles to keep it together. Ronnie arrives to take Lourens on a hunting trip and Andries finds his feet on unfamiliar shores.

The day of the big party, but a dark cloud hangs over the farm. Pa Lourens is confronted with a bitter truth as everything threatens to come undone.
