Stephen is filled with panic and terror when Jock gives him the prime job on the first day of term.

Stephen has a problem on his hands when his diagnosis of Professor Furie's illness meets with violent opposition from the patient himself.

Bob tries to enlist Stephen's help in a doubtful research project which he sees as the answer to all his problems. The result, however, is far from what he expected.

5. Contact Tracer

Stephen and his colleagues have a crisis on their hands when an epidemic hits the campus. Trying to trace the source proves as difficult as keeping the news from the Vice Chancellor.

6. The Hit List

When the Vice Chancellor tries to involve the medical practice in another of his schemes, Stephen and Jock decide he must not succeed.

7. Catastrophe Theory

A 25% cut in funding causes hysteria within the University, with the Vice Chancellor and the medical practice doing their utmost to keep their jobs.
