2. The Persistent Friend

Friar John teaches his friends Timothy, Leopold, and Renata biblical wisdom, as they learn about the persistent friend through unique animation and song.

3. The House Built on the Rock

Friar John teaches his friends Timothy, Leopold, and Renata, the meaning of the Biblical Parable, The House Built on Rock, and the importance of doing God’s will.

4. The Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Father John reads the Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector in hopes that Renata will be humbled and come to recognize and regret her past actions.

5. The Talents

Father John uses the Parable of the Talents to teach children the importance of sharing the individual talents that God has given them with others.

6. The Sower

Friar John teaches his friends Timothy-the mouse, Leopold-the frog, and Renata-the girl, biblical wisdom, as they learn about the Parable of the Sower through unique animation and song.

7. The Hidden Treasure

Father John teaches his friends: Renata the girl; Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parables of Jesus through song, puppetry, animation, and much more.

8. The Prodigal Son

Father John teaches his friends Renata the girl, Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parable of the Prodigal Son.

9. The Lost Coin

Father John teaches his friends Renata the girl, Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parable of the lost coin.

10. The Unmerciful Servant

Father John tells the parable of The Unmerciful Servant and to help illustrate the virtues with a story of St. Juan Gualberto.

11. The Workers in the Vineyard

Father John teaches his friends Renata the girl, Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parable of the Workers in the Vineyard.

12. The Wedding Feast

Father John teaches his friends Renata the girl, Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parable of the Wedding Feast.

13. The Good Samaritan

Father John teaches his friends Renata the girl, Timothy the mouse, and Leopold the frog about the parable of the Good Samaritan.

17. The Foolish Rich Man

After Timothy refuses to share the nuts he gathered with Renata, Fr. John teaches them about the importance of generosity through Christ’s parable about the foolish rich man.

18. The Lamp Under the Bushel Basket

Inspired by the Parable of the Lamp Under the Bushel Basket, Timothy helps an exhausted lightning bug regain her light.

19. The Mustard Seed

After finding out he must move out of his house, Fr. John eases his worries by remembering that God takes care of those who trust in Him, as shown in the Parable of the Mustard Seed.

24. The Rich Man

Fr. John wins a basket of treats, but his friends don’t want to share. After reading Jesus’ Parable of the Rich Man, they recognize the danger of selfishness and the importance of making good choices in our lives.

25. The Ten Virgins

A silly argument between Renata, Leopold and Tim prompts Fr. John to share the Parable of the Foolish Virgins. Essential love is needed to be with Jesus in heaven, so the children must prepare their hearts to meet Him.

26. The Vine and the Branches

When some things are stolen from Leopold, he naturally wants revenge. But after hearing the Parable of the Vine and the Branches, he realizes that united to the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will help him to be better.

27. The Birds of the Air and the Lilies of the Field

28. The Splinter in Your Brother's Eye

Leopold dreams he is a sheriff, and thinks he’s doing the right thing by punishing bad stuff others have done. But when Fr. John reads a parable to the children, he realizes that he was the guilty one by judging others.
