2. Pilot (Part 2)

Our Young Lions are still idealistic, even heroic. There is nothing world-weary or cynical about them. They want their lives to mean something: they want to make a difference. That's why Donna Parry's headed for the big smoke. But her first day as a city cop is more than she'd counted on when the police station is rocked to its foundations by a convicted cop-killer determined to exact his own vengeance.

3. Mardi Gras

Guido Martin wants two things in his life—his job and the woman he loves. He can't have both. And the job is setting him on a collision course with Eddie Mercia whom he accuses of beng involved in a cover-up. Donna and Cameron investigate a series of convenience store robberies committed by two transsexuals.

4. Swedish Backpacker

The detectives of Southwest 101 investigate the murder of a female backpacker. Cameron's new lover accuses her partner, Guido Martin, of stealing money while working undercover. The man has first hand experience—he's a hitman.

5. Boy School Bullies

The detectives of Southwest 101 investigate the staff at a prestigeous school to identify the source of child pornography found on a school computer. Donna subjects Eddie to the "Kenny test" when her brother comes into the city for a medical appointment. Cameron's trust in Guido is further tested when he refuses to investigate following a close encounter with a speeding car. His dismissal of the incident gives Cameron more reason to be concerned about his alleged ties to organised crime. A second attempt on his life is more successful.

6. Fruit Market Underworld

Guido's undercover past threatens his job at Southwest 101 when he becomes the prime suspect in the murder of Vincent Rinaldi, a crime figure Guido was involved with while working undercover and whose $2 million he is now being accused of stealing. As his colleagues' trust in him is put to the test, Guido's sole focus is on locating a missing 18-year-old girl, leaving him at risk of sacrificing everything for a girl he has never even met.

7. Asylum Seekers

Politics become personal and passionate for Eddie, Donna and Madeleine as they investigate a riot at a Sydney detention centre and the escape of a teenage refugee

8. The City and the Taxi Driver

The detectives spend a night on the streets against a backdrop of simmering tensions, while Cameron plumbs the depths of her own soul to connect with a killer.

9. Kickboxer Kills Racist

Donna confronts another reality of being a woman in the city when she defends a woman who is charged with murder after she kills a rapist

10. Arson Case

A reporter's interest in a fatal hostel arson case in which an alleged police cover-up sent the wrong man to prison prompts Kostas to put the Eddie and Donna on the reopened case. When Guido learns the target of their investigation he is forced to confront the truth about his legendary detective father and the role he played in the conviction.

11. The Priest

Eddie's faith and his friendship with Father Paul Moran are tested when Irena's sister goes missing and foul play is suspected.

12. China Town

Donna and lawyer flatmate Madeleine Delaney are in ethical conflict as they fight to save a woman charged with murder for preventing rape.

13. Nursing Home

The report of a suspicious death at a nursing home brings Eddie back into contact with a former neighbour who helped him after the death of his father. Cameron must also confront her past when her former bestfriend asks her for help to keep her arrest for shoplifting quiet in hopes of preventing her fiancé (Cameron's ex-boyfriend of three years) from finding out. Donna must decide if she should tell Eddie about Madeleine's relationship with Rob.

14. Kickboxer on Trial

Cameron is torn between Guido and his father, Senior Detective Bill Martin, and she soon finds her integrity and a boy's life are in the line.

15. The Navy (Part 1)

Guido's Naval Captain brother, the favoured older son, returns home a hero, and tensions between the brothers surface as a female naval officer is found murdered. Cameron again finds herself working alongside Bill Martin to rein in a Chinese gang leader.

16. The Navy (Part 2)

Guido and Cameron each face a personal crisis—and their friendship is tested—as Guido's father and brother come under suspicion.

17. Lone Star Blues

Eddie's integrity is tested as the father of Irene's son is released from prison. Eddie wants to reunite the boy with his father—but could lose Irene.

18. Drag Racing

Donna loves the police force and Crime Scene Examiner, Justin Carmody. Her feelings for both are tested as she investigates a fatal car smash involving police.

19. Grand Prix

Cameron feels that a girl found dead in a hotel penthouse is treated like party debris both by the elite partygoers and some investigators. Paul Bergin asks Guido's father for help to bring down a Chinese gang boss.

20. Bill's Death

Guido's friends rally to his side as his father faces a terminal illness—and a murder charge.

21. Serial Killer (Part 1)

Guido and The investigation into the suicide of an olympic swimming hopeful escalates when those around the investigation begin to be killed off. Cameron deal with an armed robbery involved the son of a prominent QC. Eddie declares his love for Irene—but it may be too late. She has stepped into the path of a killer.

22. Serial Killer (Part 2)

With Irena's condition uncertain, the search for the serial killer continues. Guido is forced to make a decision about his future with Sophie when Kostas gives him an ultimatum. Donna life is put on the line when she becomes involved in a hostage situation.
