Sol began comfort eating after he came out as gay and his mother Rachael pulled away. Now he is embarking on a strict diet with his mother to help them mend their relationship.

4. Episode 4

18-year-old Charlotte is overweight, but is even more concerned about her dad's size. Together with her mum and sister, they embrace a new diet that could turn their lives around.

5. Episode 5

Josh believes his overeating is out of boredom, but also to escape his parents' arguing. With their son in constant pain and unable to even tie his shoes, the family has agreed to a wholesale lifestyle change.

6. Episode 6

18-year-old Ellie began stress-eating after her parents split, and is now a 17-stone recluse. She and her mother Paula go on a make-or-break diet-and-exercise plan in the hopes of mending both their health and their relationship.
